DJ Nihal Interviews British Prime Minister Gordon Brown

On May 6, the U.K. will hold general elections to elect the next Members of Parliament in the House of Commons and thus the country's next Prime Minister.

On April 12, current British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, asked the Queen of England to dissolve the Parliament as new elections had been called on April 6. And May 6 voters from all over the country will cast their ballots and elect new Members of Parliament in the House of Commons.
The Labour Party has been in power since 1997 and is hoping to stay in majority for a fourth consecutive term. Labour's main competitor, the Conservative Party, is looking to take over from Labour after having been the minority party since the late 1990s.
The Liberal Democrats wish to grab as many votes as possible from both Labour and the Conservatives but it is more likely that they stay on the sidelines in the House of Commons.
So in light of the upcoming electoral challenge, what does the U.K's current Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, think of the country's immigration policy, foreign policy, financial crisis, as well as many other important issues? Listen to DJ Nihal's interview with the PM on the BBC Asian Network to find out.
